Hi all (is there anybody out there?),

I'm proud to be the first to say "goeiendag" on this Netherlands National Team forum!!

We're already the best national team in the world (unofficially, I know - sshhh...we need to keep it a secret, I suppose), the best read blog on the Netherlandsworldcupblog and now we have our own forum.

The Dutch love their football, but they also love to debate.

So, let's.

There will be heaps to discuss. Oranje's qualification, is Van Marwijk a good coach, does Van Bommel get along with Sneijder, will Stekelenburg put the "we want Sar back" discussion to rest, can Vaart and Sneijder play on one midfield, can someone tell Robben that football is a team sport... We'll chuck in some Eredivisie discussions, talk great goals from the past, insult other national teams (just kiddin'!!!) and Goose will without a doubt dig up classic stuff on YouTube!

So, Finn, Bob, Bruce, Bobo, Tiju, Goosemeister, Ayl, Carlos, Lerkot and all you other Dutch freaks, let's hear it here...

I like this forum idea. It will give some other people a chance to generate some discussion and contribute to our great group. Hopefully it takes off. Maybe it needs a small promo on the Netherlands World Cup page to get more of the regulars out here....
