Robinho has left for Man City. What do you think of this deal?

Good: We got paid 42 million for a 24 year old, who frankly hasn't won anything for RM on his own!!

Bad: We dont have a replacement for him, so we might struggle in the league and UCL

Ugly :Chelsea selling shirts without even signing him lol!!! And they way he behaved in his press confrence, if i ever see Robinho in real ill slap him for sure!!

To Follow Jitesh's Format:

Good:
-42m Euros
-Getting rid of a potentially bad ingredient that might disrupt our currently good team chemistry
-Getting rid of a player who has just proven himself to be motivated by money
-Proving that no one player is bigger than the club, especially Real Madrid
-'Punishment' to Robinho (for his statements and the timing of those statements to the press) by not giving him his first choice preference of moving to Chelsea
-Selling to a team that is not considered a top European rival
-Making Chelsea 'pay' for their lack of respect (by selling those Robinho shirts)

Bad:-Loss of a winger/second striker who on his day is capable of opening up defenses, creating chances and scoring goals
-No replacement for him. i.e. too much dependence now on injury-prone Robben
-Show of RM's lack of planning and foresight: spending too much time on CRon, unsettling Robinho (in the first place), no back up plan (last minute and 'strategy-less' chases for Villa, Capel and Cazorla are evidence)

I almost forgot these 2 points,

-Selling to a team that is not considered a top European rival
-Making Chelsea 'pay' for their lack of respect (by selling those Robinho shirts)

Thanks for pointing it out

But with our depleted team we might end up in the Uefa cup next season:p!!

Pele has aparently said Robinho need help, i think he could just go off the radar like Adriano has!!

I agree with all the points, and it seems that Real's lack of planning on the transfer front may hurt us a bit this year, but w have a good squad, and I think our only weakness is we dont have a dribble who opens up space and drags defenders with him not, as Robben, although probably more effective then Robinho, is injury prone. A pacey striker/winger would be an ideal signing for us in the near future I agree, but we must remember we do not want to destabilize the team, and any signing like that would be a major one, meaning we would have to sell before buying.

I have a wild idea why not play with one forward , either RVN or Raul or Higuain. Saviola is not been counted on by Schuster. So Play with one guy upfront with our super midfeild i think we can get enough goals!!!

I mean even with Sniejder out , we have VDV, Guti, Gago, De La Red, Diarra & Javi Garcia with Robben & Drenthe who can play on the wing!

I think Jitesh's idea is not bad at all. Play with a 4-2-3-1. Dela Red, Diarra and Gago (plus Javi Garcia) can interchange in the 2 defensive midfield spots. We usually only play with one winger who interchanges wings so it's Robben, Drenthe or even Higuain. Then we can have 2 attacking midfielders where we can interchange Guti, VDV and Sneijder - even Higuain. Raul and RVN can split time on the bench to play max. 1 game a week. the midfield has enough firepower with Robben, VDV and a healthy Sneijder plus Higuain has been scoring too as of late.
