Great Goal by Michael Bradley and an even better feed from Donovan... T&T came out swinging but the US have been on with their passing this game... and wow... Dempsey is the man!!! This US team is cruising 19 minutes into the match

I thought it was a well played game, but I really think we could have ripped apart T&T... I say that not in a "lets run up the score" demeanor but we need to show that we can rip a team apart... Germany did it on Saturday and these are the types of teams that we are going to face when the WC comes around... I know we are not up to that level of play on the pitch but we need to quit being ok with mediocrity from our US team.

T&T gave it their all after the half and it really showed how we lost control in the middle when a team threatened with good ball control. Watching this match reminded me on how Spain beat Germany in the Euro this past June... control the middle of the field and win the game. T&T had some great passing and they really picked up the tempo from the 45-52 minutes and had 2 good opportunities to get the ball in the back of the net. The Germany's Spain's and England's will do the entire 90+ what T&T did for those few minutes.

I know that these are just qualifying rounds but I think this team needs a kick in the ass or they need to start watching some games taking place across the Atlantic just to be reminded that the walk in the park is almost over.

Watching tonight's game, USA looked great in the first half. Very creative with the ball, especially Donovan! No look passes, back heels, step overs - all non-typical of the USMNT.

So far 2nd half has been a bit conservative 20 mins in.
