MLS v Ives v GolTV - Who is telling the Truth about Kandi?!

Postby Dave Martinez on August 29th, 2008, 5:07 am

I've always respected Ives opinion, and his sources. After basically being called a tabloid journalist by Gazidis, Ives hits back with a rebuttal, sticking to his original story. And to make matters worse, GOLTV is saying it was RBNY that retracted its original bid on Atlanta Silverbacks star Macoumba Kandji.

Here is the summary -

My question is, who do you believe?

I'll go with Ives. He has a good track record with breaking stories. MLS is run by a bunch of smarmy dudes who wouldn't know the truth if it smacked them in the ass.

goal.com is also backing Ives story. And with Ives rebuttal, it really looks bad for MLS.

And not for nothing, but MLS has earned that reputation for some unfortunate decisions made during this leagues inception years. So their credibility is damaged by it. Shame really. If they were telling the truth, they are already in a corner since they have a reporter of Ives immaculate credentials reporting to the contrary. Touch not to go with Ives!
