Anelka. Thoughts?

I confess: I'm still not sure if I like this guy or not. He hasn't disappointed me but he hasn't impressed me, either. Is he worthy of the midfield support he's getting?

I think he'll have a much better season this year under Scolari. Although, I can't say I like him as a lone striker. Anelka and Drogba should be a good combo once Drogs is healthy.

I've never been sold on Anelka. Yet I'm anticipating a pretty solid season from him. He's back in his favored position, and should get loads of service. I can't see him not thriving in a situation like that.

he should do a better job this term and somehow i dont think we will see a drogs-anelka pairing up front. In fact i wouldn't mind Kalou linking up with drogs/ Anelka!! Anelka was phenomenal in Bolton hope he gets back to his goal scoring form this season under big phil!!

I am also not sure whether he is correct for us but we have no choice. At least he does not sulk like Drogba. We have to get someone with passion. We should have signed Gerrard rather than Ballack. I am so fed up with our inability to bring down the opposition. Deco and Ballack is slow. It is only our English player like Cole, Lampard, Terry, who shows passion. The rest areonly in it for the money. I am not sure why I have to spend £120.00 everyweek to see them. I rather eat and drink at the World's End - Chelsea Bar now. Classier than any of our gereatic players.

anelka should play more. i no that drogba has scored in the last two games, but still. he didnt play amazing in those, just got goals. It was the plaers around him that did it. Anelka is better and is still playing better. He is the leading goal scorer in the league but Hiddink prefers drogba. Makes no sense to me. Play anelka more!!!
